As you may or may not recall, I favour a common-sense approach and am a bit of a hardliner when it comes to social issues in this country!<BR/>If someone is texting or making a call whilst driving, they should be given 3 and 6 point endorsement respectively. Don't bother with petty fines, as that will only lead to calls of being labelled a money-making exercise. Their sharp increase in insurance premiums will take care of the financial penalty.<BR/>Another point is that after being caught making a call twice, they will be banned from driving and will making a huge saving through no longer paying out for Road Tax, servicing costs, MOT's and petrol!!<BR/>This gets dangerous and inconsiderate drivers off the road, and saves them from having to pay out for ever-increasing petrol costs!...In my view, the ultimate win-win situation!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
