Day 1 - Selling this blog

Roll up roll up - welcome to the first of 30 days non-stop blogging.

If I had to sum up my blog in a 'lift' test - I would say that I will cover any topic at any time, but have concentrated on my home life, gay life, music, movies, events and a little sport.

Despite looking at visitor numbers weekly, I have come to the realisation that I blog for myself, to stretch my creative muscles as my job rarely gives me the opportunity.

The things that attract people to my blog (the variety and amazing 'wit') are potentially the things that also put people off!  Take a look at the 'best of' links on the left or pick on a topic under the 'tags' if you want some variety in your reading.

I have followers who I love to see comments from, but I have come to understand why I don't get the huge number of readers that some blogs get... I don't blog about sex. Do you really want me to get down and dirty, as that would be too easy? There are plenty of blogs that are full of sex but I'm not sure that I want to do that just yet!

And finally, before the full 30 day challenge is upon me, let me sum up by saying that what I write is honest and I hope not too formulaic.

So here goes...
