Glee

Am I the only gay man in the world who doesn't like Glee?

Am I the only gay man that thinks it should appeal only to 13 year old girls?

Am I the only gay man who feels the "music" is poor and extremely twee?

Am I the only gay man that sees the characters are 2D stereotypes?

Am I the only gay man who questions why the footballing jock has a tattoo aged 16 and looks 26?
- well at least he (Cory Monteith) is sexy.

Am I the only gay man that finds it a bit embarrasing to watch?

Obviously I am!

  1. I don't watch it. I'm in bed for 9pm, usually!

  2. I've never seen an episode either. Whenever something gets THAT much buzz, it starts to turn me off. When 99% of gay guys claim I MUST watch it, I don't.

  3. No. of course not. Why should it be assumed that if you're a gay male, you must like it. Or, for that matter to be male and to like it, you must be gay?

My housemate doesn't like it but I do. But I don't like it 'cause I'm gay. I like it because I like it. I find it fun and frivolous, well put together and great escapism. Yes, the characters don't have any particular depth - but that misses the point!

Oh, and I was introduced to it by some hetereosexual friends!

Finally, I thought 13 year year old girls were all too busy with Twilight to watch anything else!

  4. My gay comment was a direct dig at a couple of o sites!

I appreciate that straight males who like it are also wrong.

    :-p
