Day 3 - 1st June 2012

We started the day at the docks where the city have redeveloped much of the area.  We walked along the bay in the morning sunshine enjoying the views. We then decided to go to the Samuel Adams brewery for their tour. 
  
It was a really interesting tour presented by a very witty guy who then let us taste 3 varieties - free beer always makes a group enjoy the time together!
  
After being pushed through the gift shop, and on the suggestion of the brewery, we headed to Doyles bar for more beer and fries.  It became an unplanned, boozy and fun filled afternoon! 
  
Despite being wiped out by tiredness and alcohol, we made it to the Dandy Wadhols gig at the Royale.  The support act were a trippy band called The Psychic Ills. The DW's themselves were also trippy, but very cool with a big sound coming from just 4 musicians.   
  
Boston was so quiet after the gig - big, almost empty streets. Very strange.
